    • Sketch a sine curve, cosine curve or tangent curve between 0 and 360 degrees
    • Solve problems of the kind sin x = a, cos x = a, tan x = a

LESSON: Look at this exam paper with students, work through questions steadily exploring exemplar answers with them Encourage them to come to IWB to explain answers

LEARNING OBJECTVIE: To discover areas of weakness in HIgher maths Linear Exam

SUCCES CRITERIA: You will discover some areas of weaknesses, to revise in future lessons

ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITY: Loop Cards – Level C Algebra

LESSON: Hand out a past paper and ask students to attempt to complete as many questions they can in about 80 mins of lesson time. Use Last 30 mins of lesson to  mark the questions they have completed. Get them to put individual question breakdown on front of their paper. If time look at grade boundaries.
